This passage tells the story of Paul’s arrival at Jerusalem and his arrest. Paul always talked about the work of Jesus and the transformation that Jesus had made in his ministry and life. I believe that you also have testimonies about the transformation Jesus has brought to your life. It may not be as dramatic as the apostle Paul’s, but your story of a relationship with Jesus is powerful. When opportunities arise, be ready.
Your testimony should include two parts: what you were like and how Jesus transformed you. I would like to share with you about what I was like. I was in pursuit of happiness, but could not find it. I found the constant pursuit of spiritual growth tedious. God's grace came to me, but I was not renewed. I complained. But God changed it in a 30-day prayer trip. Now, I give thanks every day and feel the constant joy of pursuing spiritual growth. Through Jesus my weakness becomes strength.
Again, I encourage you to share with people the transformation that Jesus has made in you. There is great power in the story of a changed life. This is how the world around you gets transformed. Change is possible.
Let’s talk about Jesus. Let’s boldly speak out the work of Jesus in your life, as Paul did 2000 years ago.
